I am Gareth Loot, 41, based in Alkmaar. Back from travel in 2026 and looking for my next role as a Mendix and web developer.
My most recent role was Mendix consultant at Ciphix (Jun 2024–Jun 2025). My background spans low-code platforms and custom frontends: years at Betty Blocks as product trainer, development coach, and senior no-code developer; React and React Native work at Fish on Fire; and earlier roles training and supporting people at Apple Retail.
Current build work includes a Mendix Studio Pro extension for validation and UI generation. I also take on freelance Mendix, SvelteKit, and training work when it fits.
